Burger of the Gods

Seriously, that's what it's called at the Lunchbox Laboratory. With onion fries (battered fries) and a NuGrape Soda from Waco, TX. This is serious because-it-might-induce-a-heart-attack shit.

Good Food and Friends

Saturday night we ignored all the warnings about driving around in Seattle's Blizzard of '08 and went out to celebrate Adrien's 29th birthday at Crush. The food was amazing—finally had the chance to enjoy fois gras as it was meant to be— dinner with friends is always good, and driving a front wheel drive car with no chains in ice and snow made for a very interesting (rallycross anyone?) ride home.

Saturday Ride

Saturday a few of the boys and I decided to maintain the get-off-your-ass-while-it's-still-nice-outside tip and did a little ride up to Ballard. We had lunch at the Other Coast Cafe, and as usual, the Rajun Cajun sandwich was amazing while the service and attitude was subpar. We followed that up by tossing the frisbee around at Golden Gardens.
Even a flat bike tire on the way home couldn't ruin this day.

Air Travel = Hard
Air travel is hard. Whatever happened to the glamourous skylines with the beautiful stewardesses serving us cocktails in a skylounge on a giant plane? Instead, our flight out of Seattle was delayed, which meant we missed our connecting flight in Denver to New Orleans. Luckily, our airline put us up in a hotel for the night and got us out to New Orleans Saturday afternoon. Having to fly somewhere for three straight days is something I don't think I could ever get used to.
Hayden and I were sent to New Orleans for NBA All-Star weekend to document the booth experience we produced for the T-Mobile for the NBA Jam Session. Because our flight was delayed, we only had about 24 hours to spend in New Orleans, so we tried to make the most of it.

Stuffed

Started off Thanksgiving with lunch at Tara's dad and step-mother's house.

Then early dinner at Tara's mom's.

Then finally ending up at my Uncle's for dinner with my family.
We should be able to live off of the leftovers for a least a week.

Gourmet Burgers & Shoe Displays
Tara and I had dinner with Dana and Joe at his condo last night. We made the most amazing burgers ever, all from scratch. The only thing we didn't do was bake the buns and grind the meat. Good food and friends is always a great way to unwind from a hectic week.

Adrien and I also stopped by the shop yesterday to drop off the new product I shot. The night before we did some rearranging of the space and display shelving, and I think it turned out pretty well. But I'm looking forward to moving out of there and into a new space.
