He Missed

Friday night I saw a decent basketball game (Peyton Siva is legit), a 6 year old kid who dances way better than I could ever dream of, two fights, a Cadillac get jacked, and the owner of said Cadillac shoot at his own car trying to hit the jacker as he speed off. He missed.

The man who took me on my first ever business trip was back in town from his family farm in Ohio for a few days. A few of us from HA went out to catch up and have a few drinks. I can still remember Dan and I sitting out in the Oakland, CA sun eating a pastrami sandwich and talking about quality deli meats.
